According to one person we should have played the lottery yesterday. All three boys played at the same place at 8:30 am on fields that were right next to each other. That never happens. We were back home and starting on chores by noon. Daddy Cameron and I joked that this must be what other parents feel like most Saturdays.
Thing 1’s team played a really close game and lost by 1. Thing 2’s team didn’t do as well, however, they were playing a team a year older. Thing 3’s team destroyed the team that they played. Due to the fact that all the boys were playing at the same time, I didn’t take any pictures. I was doing good to just keep up with how each kid’s team was doing.
Today, Thing 1 and Thing 2 both played at 1:30pm. The only downfall is that the fields they were on were at opposite sides of the complex. When this happens, Daddy Cameron and I split the games. Today I watched the first half of Thing 1’s game and the 2nd half of Thing 2’s game.
Thing 1’s team did a great job, at halftime they were up by 2 or 3 and since Thing 1 typically plays center back, I don’t really have that many great pictures of him. However, apparently in the second half since they were up, Thing 1 was able to play center forward, where he scored his first goal of the season. But, of course, I don’t have a picture of that since I was at Thing 2’s game. No one is exactly sure what the final score was because it was a lot to zero.
Thing 2’s team won their game 2-0. Thing 2 played in goal in the first half, where he had little action. The second half Thing 2 played in the field.
It was a pretty great weekend of soccer and we didn’t have to spend the whole time at the soccer fields.
Just another weekend Raising the Cameron Clan!
