Now that soccer is over, I’ve decided that we were going to start hiking again. I have really missed it and I think that the boys have missed it, whether they realize it or not.
So on Monday, I decided we were going to go hiking today. There was no rain in the forecast for today and it was supposed to be the warmest day this week, besides Monday. Well, guess what. It was rainy and cold. Ok, well like 50 degrees, but considering it was 70 degrees yesterday, it was a little shocking.
However, we didn’t let the weather stop us. We met up with some other friends and headed out for a short hike. The boys had a great time running through the woods with the other boys. The rain and the cold didn’t seem to bother them at all. I was super happy to see that.
Thing 4 was super excited about our hike also. When I pulled our her hiking carrier backpack, she immediately wanted in it. She completely enjoyed her ride this afternoon and loved hiking with her brothers.
This evening, after dinner, the kids were excited to decorate ice cream cones to look like Christmas trees. This was a test run for our homeschool group holiday party, so our trees weren’t green. Instead they were white and brown because that is what frosting we picked up from the store this afternoon.
In the end the Christmas trees were a hit.
Overall we had a great day.
Just another day Raising the Cameron Clan!
